

The Win+Shift+Enter shortcut actually works for all Universal Windows Platform apps on Windows 10, including other apps like the Mail app.

However, the F11 key does the same thing in both versions of Edge, so you might as well press F11 instead. If you’re using the original version of Edge, you can also press Win+Shift+Enter to enter and exit full-screen mode. The Win+Shift+Enter Trick (Old Microsoft Edge Only) The F11 key will toggle full-screen mode on and off in the classic version of Edge, too. You can also click the menu (three dots) button and click the “Full Screen” button again to turn off full-screen mode. On the toolbar, click the “Unmaximize” button between the minimize and close buttons at the top-right corner of the screen to deactivate full-screen mode. If you’re using the classic version of Edge that came with Windows 10, you must instead move your mouse to the top of the screen to reveal the hidden toolbar. You can also press F11 on your keyboard to exit Microsoft Edge’s full-screen mode. (The button only appears when you move your mouse to the top of the screen.) In full-screen mode, move the mouse to the top of your screen and click the “X” button to exit full-screen mode. To the right of the Zoom option in the menu, click the “Full Screen” button to activate a full-screen browsing experience.
